EVALUATING THE NATIONAL WEATHERIZATION ASSISTANCE PROGRAM
RETROFITTING OUR NATION'S HOMES The U.S. Department of Energy’s Building America program turns its focus to energy efficiency home retrofits with awards of up to $30 million over the next 18 months to 15 multidisciplinary teams. The Energy Center of Wisconsin, Wisconsin Energy Conservation Corporation and UW Madison are among several partners on a winning bid by the University of Minnesota. MORE... BIOENERGY RESEARCH Bioenergy represents a growing share of the United States' renewable energy supply. The Energy Center’s bioenergy research team provides businesses, utilities, government agencies and others with objective research on bioenergy. We study opportunity fuels, residues, production byproducts and crops and assess their availability to help users develop secure supply plans for bioenergy generation. MORE... |
