01.04.10 | Energy in America makes Outstanding Academic Title list The Association of College and Research Libraries has selected Ingrid Kelley's book, Energy in America: a tour of our fossil fuel culture and beyond, for inclusion in their Outstanding Academic Title list. It is one of 652 publications chosen as the "best of the best" from 7,065 works reviewed by the editors of Choice during 2009.
10.05.09 | WUWM Radio Interview Susan was a guest on WUWM's Lake Effect program on October 5. She discussed energy efficiency potential studies in the Midwest and the goal to capture two percent savings annually from energy efficiency for the region. This goal is part of the Midwestern Energy Roadmap unveiled at the Jobs and Energy Forum in Detroit, Michigan on October 6. It provides policy direction to Midwestern governors for reducing carbon emissions and creating jobs in the clean energy industry.

09.01.09 | Governor Doyle invites Susan Stratton to join Obama administration officials at Clean Energy Economy Forum Wisconsin Governor Jim Doyle invited Energy Center Executive Director Susan Stratton to a Clean Energy Economy Forum, September 2, 2009, in Saginaw, MI. The invitation-only event was co-hosted by Michigan Governor Jennifer Granholm and led by Obama administration officials. The forum was intended to support a comprehensive plan to boost the clean energy sector, create jobs and develop technologies to cut pollution and utilize alternative energy sources.
08.24.09 | Tate Walker Appointed to USGBC Energy and Atmosphere Technical Advisory Group The Management Sub-Committee of the LEED Steering Committee and the Executive Committee of the USGBC Board of Directors appointed Energy Center Senior Project Manager Tate Walker to the Energy and Atmosphere Technical Advisory Group (TAG). The TAG is charged with providing a consistent source of sound technical advice to LEED committees with respect to credit requirements and supporting tools in LEED.

06.17.09 | Susan Stratton Promotes Energy Efficiency on Wisconsin Public Radio Energy Center Executive Director Susan Stratton was a special guest on Wisconsin Public Radio with Larry Meiller. Susan discusses current Energy Center projects including the energy efficiency potential in Wisconsin, technical assistance programs and the Better Buildings: Better Business Conference, and answers questions from the public on energy efficiency practices.
