Wisconsin Wind Project

In 1998, wind turbines were built on a farm near Green Bay to determine the feasibility of generating electricity from the wind in Wisconsin. Research data will be collected for five years. Project sponsors include several Wisconsin utilities along with the Electric Power Research Institute and the U.S. Department of Energy. www.wisconsinwindproject.com
